Plains Midstream Canada wants to keep you informed with accurate and timely information on our planned activities.
This is a notification that we will be conducting additional maintenance work on Coed pipeline in May 2023 which will include additional a nitrogen purge.
During the maintenance period, noise and odour mitigation measures will be in place. However, intermittent hydrocarbon odours and noise fluctuations may be detected in the vicinity of where work is being completed.
We will monitor for any concerns and will incorporate additional mitigation strategies to minimize potential disturbances for anyone.
Q: How long is the work scheduled to last?
A: The work is scheduled to begin the morning of May 6, 2023 to May 7, 2023 by end of day barring any unforeseen delays.
Q: What are the expected venting rates and volumes?
A: There will be approximately 2500eᶾmᶾ nitrogen volume vented from over the course of 24 hours.
Q: Will there be additional noise or odour associated with this work?
A: There may be additional offsite odours and noise associated with this work. Plains Operations will be monitoring and minimizing both.
